Hi, I’m Maria, I’m the Founder of the Professional Carers Network but more importantly I am a Self Employed Carer too!

Five years ago, I launched my own self-employed care business with zero guidance, no idea where to start, and a whole lot of fear. I had many sleepless nights worrying if this was going to work?  Would I be able to find enough clients?  Would I be able to pay my bills?  Was I even allowed to deliver care like this?!  But you know what, I figured it out!  And not only did I build a thriving care business, but I saw the massive impact self-employed carers can have on everyone involved.

Other carers saw how well my care business was doing and started asking me how I did that and could they do it too.  So I showed them as I’m all about community over competition!  This led to the creation of the Professional Carers Network—because care can be an excellent career, you just need to use the correct business model!
